My RadRover had a battery issue, it seemed totally dead. Brought it in. The guy there fiddled with it for 10m and completely brought it back to life. Then they sent me on my way without asking for any kind of payment. Awesome service!

Absolutely loved our experience! They provided us a great map, route and ebikes. I had knee surgery 2 weeks ago and was worried about the ability to enjoy myself for a long period of time. The electric bike was so unbelievably helpful and provided me the ability to still enjoy the activity with my family. If you are not sure if you can do this as long as you can balance on a bike all ages could enjoy this!

Matt sold my wife and I two Magnum Rangers. For an extra charge, he then installed monkey bars on my Ranger. Cable routing and wiring was very professional. Matt even threw in some extras. These rides are awesome! We added kid seats for my 3 year old and 18 month old. These e-bikes are super safe handling with 4 inch wide tires and heavy duty mounting points; they are like motor homes of cycling!!

My first time ever doing a Self guided bike tour in an unfamiliar place. I am happy to say that this was the best way to get around Salt Lake City. Matt the owner of the shop is a delightful, kind, and generous person. He will give a map, draw it out for you ,and say, "GO have fun and enjoy yourself!" That is exactly what my friend and I did. We drove our ebikes to ensign park and to the state capitol. I am an experienced mountain bike rider ,but my friend is not. However, the ebikes made the trip fun for both of us. Salt Lake Ebikes is an exciting way to see Salt Lake City!

So much fun! The prices were very reasonable and the staff was very friendly. We took a warm up lap around Liberty Park then went up to Parley’s Trail. I could have biked all day. We only rented for an hour but next time I’ll definitely be doing more.

Matt the owner is a super decent guy.
I brought an electric mobility scooter that we didn't even buy from him into the store to be repaired. He asked if we could leave it there for an hour or so and he would have it fixed. I couldn't believe he offered to fix it right there and then. His response, "well you said this is a mobility device. I am supposing that someone needs this fixed right away so that they can get around. So, we'll get this done for you right now".
I'm so glad to find great people willing to give great service - just want everyone to know.

He told us about the good trails to go on, but we ended up just riding through the city, which was nice as well! The bikes are great and easy to use. We tried Salt Lake Ebikes for the first time and had an amazing experience. Matt had our bikes ready for us when we arrived about 5 minutes early. He was helping several people but was able to get us on our way with enough instruction to help us feel confident on our own. He was so positive and encouraging that we were excited to be on our way. We are already planning our next rental!

It's been years since I had ridden a bike, but it was like-well, riding a bike-to get back on one this weekend. My wife and I wanted to browse the downtown neighborhoods on bikes and found that this shop was the perfect answer for us.

We made a reservation ahead, although it doesn't seem to be necessary. The guy who runs the shop (I missed his name) showed us several bikes and explained their functions and ultimately recommended bikes for each of us. We went with the traditional cruiser for our neighborhood meandering.

After some quick orientations and helmet fittings, we were off. Riding the bike was very similar to a traditional bicycle, with the exception of the power that kicks in and helps you gain speed. That's fun. And very helpful when you're fighting to get uphill. The bike will jump in and assist you like a champ.

There is onsite parking and it's easily accessed right off 700 East. Give it a go!

Today was my second time renting from SLC ebikes. I haven’t been able to spend as much time training on my road bike as I’dve liked this year, but still wanted to go on a long ride with friends. The ebike is the perfect solution! I could still enjoy the beautiful mountains and keep up no problem. The staff at the store has been amazing to work with—very accommodating with my schedule and needs. The bikes there are AMAZING! I love each and every one of them. They let you try them out first. I’m gonna get a mountain bike next time. And they have good deals if you want to buy one. Saving my pennies! This place would be perfect for a date or group activity—you could ride around in the park across the street and do all the things. So so fun!!!

First, I'll admit, I'm no biker. I'm ashamed to say that even though I come from a country where bikes and vespas are common, I know nothing about bikes, except for how to ride them (and I know how to ride, you know what I'm sayin'? ;) but when in Utah, do as the Romans do.

The pros:
+ the bike room. OK, I've never seen so many electric bikes. Hell, I've never even seen an electric bike.
+ electric bikes are cool. They allow you the illusion of working without doing any actual work. Like a recumbent bike at the gym.
+ owner (Matt) is super chill. So chill, he's ice cold. I'd throw him in a cooler with a few beers and not worry.
+ not a bad fee. $20 for an hour? (without tax) shoot, sign me up for an hour then boss!
+ so many bikes to choose from!

The cons
- they don't have baskets on their bikes. There goes my dream of living out a romantic comedy with Owen Wilson biking on a beach.

Note: listen carefully to the instructions so u don't wipe out or crash. U do not want to pay for the damages not do you want to wipe out going 20+ mph.

I've purchased 2 bikes here. The experience is exceptional. I messed up the derailer on one which they fixed while I went to lunch.

Such an awesome place. Owner is really passionate about what he sells. I bought a bike from there about a month ago. Something was a little off on it and they serviced it same day for free and encouraged me and my girlfriend to take some bikes out around the park while we wait. Good location too!

I wasn’t sure if they did repairs, and I don’t know much about bikes other than I love to ride them! My bike had a few screws loose and adjustments needed to be made but I wasn’t sure of the cost. I assumed Ebikes only sold new bikes and wouldn’t be able to help. I went in to the shop and asked anyways. The guy (I think his name was Matt) was SUPER nice and welcoming, took my bike like it was his own. He didn’t try and tell me there was a bunch of things I needed to fix on my bike, he just took it in and polished it up as well as made some minor adjustments. Free of charge! I was so blown away with the service. This place is amazing!

I just love these guys. When I bought my IMax S1 scooter from them they went way out of their way to teach me how to use it. They took me on a tour to try it and so on. Today I just went back to them because my scooter wouldn’t turn on and Matt was so helpful and funny and just everything. And ha ha it turned out the scooter is just fine the connection cables just needed to be pushed together a little. Silly me I even looked at those but don’t apply enough pressure. Anyway I highly recommend Salt Lake eBikes!

Fantastic experience! There was a ton of e-bikes you could select for your size at reasonable price. My girlfriend was not confident with a standard size bike and the owener, Matt, immediately found the best size for her. We had a lot of fun, but best of all was communication with Matt and staff. I was so impressed by their service. I'd definitely come back here for crusing around the downtown.

Rented bikes with a friend from Salt Lake Ebikes on June 25th and 26th and had a blast exploring the city. The owner Matt is very friendly and easy to work with. The e-bikes are the best way to get around the city and the parks and are so much fun to ride. Had so much fun we went back for a second time. If you have never ridden an e-bike it just takes a few minutes to get acquainted with it. So much more fun than a traditional bike that I probably will buy one. 10 stars for this stellar ebike shop. One of the very few shops that liberally allows rentals or demos. This is the best location to buy if your not sure whether you want an ebike. We bought one and will probably get another, but had rental only in our plan. Owners are so flexible, fun and great people.

We had such a great experience shopping for E bikes. Salt Lake E Bikes was the first and only store we visited. Probably the best and easiest bike rental place I've ever been to. Before we went out on our ride we got recommendations on where we should go and easy directions from the locals. The ebikes are fast and have a lot of torque to easily glide up hills especially for their cheap price. We had a lot of fun and I recommend this bike rental shop to anyone.

The guys at Salt Lake Ebikes were very enthusiastic and helpful. We rented three bikes that ran great. We spent a couple of hours touring the University of Utah and other areas of Salt Lake. I've got to say it's pretty cool lightly pedaling and going 20mph and passing the serious bikers! I'd highly recommend these guys! Prices were also very reasonable.

I've been biking for over 20 years and I've never had so much fun on a bike before! It reminded me of why I got into biking in the first place. My hips hurt now that I am older so this gives me great hope that I don't have to abandon my great past time. They are tough, super fast, and incredibly fun. I felt like Iron Man taking off at top speeds I didn't think were possible. Matt is incredibly helpful, informative, and personable. For any avid biker, you've got to try this!

Picked up my Magnum Peak earlier & have been out riding the city all night. So fun & going to use it as my everyday commuter.

Today was a perfect day to try ebikes and roam around the city. We were thinking about buying ebikes, so we thought we should try first and see how it goes on SLC hills. We rented the base model and it's really fun and efficient. We went up to the U on E 100 S without a sweat. We will very likely buy one in the next months.
And the manager even offered us a second hour of rent for free!!!

Super fun! I wanted to try my commute to the U with an electric bike: I'm 100% convinced and will likely buy my own in the next few weeks. We booked online 2 bikes with my husband for one hour, and when we arrived to the shop to pick them up, we felt really welcomed: they offered us to ride a premium version of their electric bike, lent us gloves, helmet, lock, safety vest and side bags, and even offered us to extend our rent for a second hour for free! Needless to say that we will go back there when we will decide to purchase a bike!
